WEDDING CEREMONY TRADITIONS

ROSE CEREMONIES

I have three different versions of this ceremony:

bullet

In the first, the bride presents a rose to each mother as she enters.

In the second, the bride and groom each present a rose to their mothers as they exit.

The two choices above are also wonderful ways to thank the mothers for all their hard work!

In the third, the parties give each other a rose, and keep a vessel in their home to place a rose in it each year on their anniversary.  Placing a rose in the vessel can also verbalize "I need to talk," "I love you," "I need you," "Please forgive me," etc.

For an alternative, replace the rose with your favorite flower.
